Probably posted this somewhere way down on the thread, but as OP mentions ginger beer... has anyone found a decent alternative to Old Jamaica since they've fucked it up with sweeteners?

And your right RBshorty, it's a bit sad what Macallan have done, but it is good and they decided to rip sad Whisky snobs off.
Without planning it's not easy to get good Whisky where I am and I looked at what was available and paid though the nose for Macallan, 50€ for a 12 year old. I've seen much worse prices for Macallan and I know there are plenty much cheaper and as good if you have the choice...
I happy thats what's important!

As daughter moved out been redecorating her room last couple of days... just finished for the day... quick trot round the block and then just grabbed nearest can from outside fridge..... seems like I'm drinking a can of magners... not sure how that happened
